## About the role

As Head of Data Center Commissioning at Giga, you own that outcome across our entire portfolio of AI data center infrastructure and development, not one building at a time. You'll build and lead the commissioning function — setting the standards, staffing the team, and running the program that ensures every facility we deliver passes from construction to live operation without surprises.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of experience in commissioning, with 5+ years managing or leading a team of Cx professionals across multiple concurrent projects
- Demonstrated experience commissioning mission-critical, data center, or large-scale industrial facilities at a program or portfolio level, not just single-project execution
- Track record building or significantly scaling a commissioning function, standard, or team from the ground up
- Deep working knowledge of MEP and electrical systems — generators, UPS, switchgear, cooling infrastructure, BMS/controls — sufficient to set standards and adjudicate technical disputes
- Experience managing commissioning budgets and vendor/subcontractor relationships across multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong track record presenting to and advising executive or ownership-level stakeholders on program risk and status
