## About the role

Giga Energy designs and manufactures switchboards, transformers, and modular data center power infrastructure for the AI and mission-critical data center market. We're building our field service function from the ground up to support commissioning, startup, and post-installation service for our transformer product line as it scales into utility, industrial, and hyperscale data center deployments.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field — OR equivalent experience (military electrical/electronics training, associate degree + relevant field experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on field experience with power/distribution transformers, switchgear, or related power delivery equipment (entry-level candidates with strong internships/training programs will be considered)
- Working knowledge of transformer testing: TTR, insulation resistance, DGA/oil analysis, power factor testing
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and winding/vector diagrams
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–75%, including domestic and potentially international sites
- Valid driver's license, ability to maintain/obtain a passport
