## About the role

As Commercial Manager, Delivery, you must continually and critically monitor the procurement and commercial aspects of their projects and determine strategies and actions to mitigate commercial risk and protect profit margins. Furthermore, working collaboratively with the project teams, the Commercial Manager is responsible for providing input in finding opportunities through value engineering, programme logic and procurement decisions amongst other things, to enhance project profitability.

- Advanced and up-to-date knowledge of Quantity Surveying principles, including cost planning, value engineering and commercial management for complex construction and infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement frameworks, and industry regulations, including recent developments relevant to the sector
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Expertise in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best-practice solutions, leveraging benchmarking, lessons learned, and industry standards
- Exceptional accuracy in cost analysis, contract review, and compliance checks ensuring all commercial outputs are precise and reliable
