## About the role

GlobalFoundries is seeking a talented IP Design Engineer to join our IP Engineering team in Hsinchu. As an individual contributor, you will help develop high-performance computing processor IP products, collaborating with global teams across architecture, design, verification, and implementation. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technologies while driving technical innovation, product quality, and engineering excellence.

## What they're looking for

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital design, implementation, verification, or validation of processor/IP products
- Strong understanding of microprocessor, memory, and system architectures
- Hands-on experience in RTL design, microarchitecture, verification methodologies (UVM/OVM, formal verification, functional coverage), and technical specification development
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation, synthesis, linting, formal verification, and flow automation
