## About the role

Globality is looking for a Director, Commercial Legal to lead commercial contracting on the revenue side of the business. You will own negotiation and structuring of customer-facing agreements, working closely with sales and revenue leadership to close deals efficiently while managing risk appropriately. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role: you will run the commercial contracting function day to day and be trusted to take positions and close without a layer of review above every deal.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of commercial contracting experience, with at least 4 years in a lead role negotiating enterprise SaaS deals
- Demonstrated experience negotiating directly with large, regulated enterprise customers — including their procurement, security, and privacy functions — on customer or third-party paper
- A track record of owning commercial contracting independently — running deals end to end with minimal supervision, taking positions without routine escalation, and knowing precisely when a matter does warrant escalation
- Comfort contracting for AI and agentic products — able to translate how the technology actually works into defensible terms on data use, model training, outputs, and customer data rights
- Exceptional drafting skills, and the ability to give clear, business-oriented guidance to non-lawyers under deal pressure
- JD and active membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar, in-house experience at a high-growth technology company preferred
