## About the role

The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, monitoring, and scaling the enterprise platform services in our portfolio, spanning IAM, Communications, Payments, and API Gateways. Applying engineering best practices to help ensure a culture of software quality and operational excellence throughout the organization. This role will work directly with product and engineering teams to help define the platform roadmap and provide input towards the overall technical strategy.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree
- 9+ years experience in backend or platform software engineering
- Highly proficient in backend platform engineering, C#/.NET or TypeScript/Node.js, REST and GraphQL API design, event-driven messaging, OAuth 2.0/OIDC and token lifecycle
- Proficient with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development, including agent design and evaluation, MCP and tool integration, and prompt and context engineering
- Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
- Passion for software development, emerging technologies and culture of innovation
