## About the role

As a Senior Design Technologist on the Design Foundations team, you will lead AI prototyping and internal tooling initiatives that drive precision, cohesion, accessibility, and brand consistency across the design organization. You will help ensure our AI-native platform (spanning email, calendars, docs, and agents) is supported by scalable systems that maintain our high-quality standards.

## What they're looking for

- Have 8+ years across creative technology, design engineering, interaction design, or advanced prototyping with a portfolio that demonstrates both technical sophistication and strong design instincts
- Have built interactive experiences powered by LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini APIs) — not just integrated a chat UI, but designed experiences where AI behavior is part of the interaction design
- Have worked closely with Design Systems and Accessibility teams
- Are fluent in Figma's advanced capabilities: Variables, Advanced Prototyping, Plugins API, REST API
- Have strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React — enough to build anything you can design, at prototype fidelity
- Are comfortable with Claude Code, Framer, Cursor, etc for rapid, code-adjacent prototyping
