## About the role

We are looking for a computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science student or recent graduate to join the BMC Development team as a Firmware Engineering Intern. You will work with experienced engineers on low-level and embedded firmware that supports the operation, control, and manageability of advanced compute systems.

## What they're looking for

- Academic, personal, or project experience developing embedded software or firmware
- Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, system-level firmware, or hardware bring-up
- Experience using lab equipment or conducting hardware-based engineering experiments
- Experience with automated testing or scripting in Python
- Familiarity with Git or another version-control system
- Awareness of continuous integration and delivery practices
