## About the role

We're seeking a highly organized Engineering Buyer to support our R&D Engineering teams in rapidly developing robotics for Wonder’s next-generation restaurants. You’ll work directly alongside our engineering team to execute purchases, vet vendors, and keep complex builds on schedule. You won’t just execute purchase orders; you’ll manage the vendor lifecycle administratively, untangle accounting and PO platform bottlenecks, and own the procurement process end-to-end across multiple concurrent projects.

## What they're looking for

- 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, specifically supporting hardware, manufacturing, or automation products
- Preferred: BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (an engineering degree is not required, but technical familiarity is a preferred)
- Proficiency with standard procurement/spend management platforms
- Ability to read part numbers, interpret basic technical terminology on datasheets, and communicate effectively with technical vendors
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and keep meticulous records
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams (specifically closing the gap between Engineering and Finance/Accounting)
