## About the role

As the Service Engineer II, Screening Automation, you are part of a dynamic team that supports the Guardant Health Shield Screening program at our Palo Alto site. This role will primarily work on a variety of laboratory instruments including Automated Plasma Isolation (API) and Library Preparation track systems, liquid handlers & NGS sequencers. You will be responsible for equipment installations, maintenance & repairs etc.

## What they're looking for

- A BS degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience authoring and executing PM, IQ, OQ, repair, and other service-related documentation
- Experience developing and leading training programs to provide knowledge-transfer to other engineers and lab personnel
- Experience working within a CLIA and GMP regulated environment
- Experience standardizing processes for scalability and sustainability
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external colleagues as well as customers from diverse scientific, engineering, operational, and regulatory disciplines
