## About the role

Automate the server lifecycle end to end: provisioning, OS installs, configuration, hardware validation, and decommissioning Build and maintain the tooling engineers use to interact with the fleet, so nobody hand-configures a machine twice

## What they're looking for

- 3+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Hands-on bare metal experience, such as provisioning and managing physical servers (PXE, IPMI/BMC, RAID, NICs), working with colo or dedicated-server providers, and debugging hardware versus software issues
- Deep Linux fundamentals, including systemd, networking, storage, and performance tuning
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Nix)
- Solid scripting or programming ability in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
- A security mindset: you think about access, blast radius, and secrets by default, not as an afterthought
