## About the role

As the Senior Accountant , you will be instrumental in defining and growing Helsing’s US accounting organization from first principles. Your mission is to partner with the Director of Finance to develop, execute, and maintain accounting workflows which yield timely, auditable and accurate financial records. This position will involve partnership with teams throughout the business and offer high visibility to US leadership.

## What they're looking for

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the US accounting function
- Oversee inventory control and cost accounting for US manufacturing facilities
- Prepare journal entries, review ledger postings for accuracy and completeness, and maintain the general ledger and sub-ledgers
- Perform key aspects of the monthly close process including balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis
- Support external audit and due diligence requests
- Provide hands-on support for the implementations of financial and information management systems (ERP, procure-to-pay, T&E management, etc.)
