## About the role

This role provides the essential drafting, diligence, and legal oversight required for the execution of the company's energy and related infrastructure strategy. You will be responsible for the negotiation of power-related agreements for the Company's growing energy infrastructure platform, spanning grid-supplied power, on-site and behind-the-meter generation, and the acquisition of power-related assets.

## What they're looking for

- Technical Negotiator: You have a proven track record of lead-negotiating multi-party infrastructure deals
- Strategic Risk Manager: You can identify and mitigate regulatory and operational dependencies—such as curtailment risks and upgrade obligations—before they impact project delivery
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state and a member in good standing of one U.S. bar
- Expertise negotiating power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, retail supply agreements, and utility infrastructure arrangements
- Familiarity with FERC and state public utility commission regulatory frameworks, experience with NERC reliability standards and energy trading documentation (ISDA/NAESB/EEI) is highly desirable
- Experience supporting project finance transactions, including lender diligence and covenant negotiation
