## About the role

You’ll work alongside our Founding QA Engineer to help Hyperbound ship quickly and confidently. We release new features weekly, and you’ll independently own quality for the features and product areas you take on, from writing test plans and running user acceptance testing to building automation and verifying fixes. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and Solutions Engineers to catch issues early and improve how we test as we grow. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.

## What they're looking for

- 3+ years of software quality engineering experience testing modern web applications or SaaS products
- Strong ability to independently design and execute test strategies rather than relying only on predefined test cases
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of API testing and experience validating interactions between frontend, backend, and third-party systems
- Ability to investigate complex bugs using browser developer tools, logs, API requests, application behavior, and other technical evidence
- Experience writing clear, actionable bug reports and communicating quality risks to engineers and product stakeholders
