## About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Associate Scientist to join our Discovery Chemistry team at Iambic Therapeutics in San Diego, CA. In this role, the successful candidate will apply hands-on synthetic chemistry skills to execute high-throughput experiments and support compound library campaigns. Candidates will be leveled based on experience, technical depth, and demonstrated independence.

## What they're looking for

- MS degree in Organic Chemistry with 3+ years of experience or BS in Organic Chemistry with 5+ years of industry experience
- Strong foundation in modern organic synthetic methods
- Direct experience with High Throughput Chemistry and/or Parallel Synthesis
- Familiarity with laboratory automation, liquid handling robotics, and automated analytical/purification systems, and high adaptability to existing technology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic research environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey technical results to colleagues and cross-functional partners
