Ibotta is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This role will play a key part in driving the success of our business by owning core month-end close processes, conducting first-line reviews of staff work, leading process improvement projects, and building strong cross-functional partnerships across the business. ## What they're looking for

- 3-4+ years of overall general accounting experience. Public accounting (audit) experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Deep understanding of US GAAP
- Strong Excel skills, experience with NetSuite and FloQast is preferred
- Demonstrated capability or prior experience reviewing work, providing feedback, or mentoring team members
- Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
- Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, strong adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a track record of meeting deadlines
