## About the role

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Product Data to join our team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. In this role, you will own the product data foundation of the Ibotta Performance Network. At the center of the IPN is a canonical catalog of the UPCs and SKUs brands promote, along with the systems that keep that data complete, accurate, enriched, and easy to use. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning backend, platform, or infrastructure-heavy domain - ideally in catalog, data platforms, content systems, search, and/or ML/AI-adjacent products
- BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field required
- Familiarity with data modeling, APIs, and data pipelines
- Comfortable interrogating data directly and contributing confidently to technical design conversations with Decision Scientists and Engineers
- Working understanding of ML-assisted data systems: you can reason about precision/recall trade-offs, confidence thresholds, and when to route work to human review
- Decisive in ambiguity, with strong judgment on when to ship, when to invest in foundations, and when to push back on stated requirements to find the real underlying need
