## About the role

iCapital is seeking an Associate to join the Investment Strategy team and contribute to research across global public and private markets, alternative investments, disruptive technologies, and thematic investing. This role will support the firm's efforts to deliver differentiated market insights while helping advisors and clients navigate an increasingly complex investment landscape through combining investment research expertise with data analytics capabilities.

## What they're looking for

- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private markets, alternatives, asset management, investment research, or investment strategy
- Demonstrated research experience across public or private markets, with a strong interest in alternative investments and portfolio construction
- Strong understanding of private markets, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies
- Experience with data analytics, quantitative research, and financial modeling
- Working knowledge of Python and its application to financial analysis, data visualization, automation, and investment research
- Familiar with AI-powered research tools, machine learning concepts, or modern analytical workflows is preferred
