## About the role

The Applications team at Imply is seeking a backend specialist with an interest in working with and on Apache Druid. Our team builds customer-facing applications leveraging the power of our database, Apache Druid, to simplify data management, ingestion, and analysis and to provide customers with powerful APIs and SDKs for integrating critical functionality into their automation and software.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years experience building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable services in Java or a similar language
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, cloud providers such as AWS, and/or related technologies
- Experience using relational and/or OLAP databases
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong communication and coordination skills
