## About the role

This is a prospecting-first sales role for someone who gets energy from creating opportunities. You will spend a significant portion of your time identifying target RIAs, cold calling, executing outbound outreach, finding the right decision-makers, and turning new conversations into qualified meetings and opportunities. Working closely with the Head of RIA Business Development, you will help build the top of the sales funnel and expand InvestX's reach within the independent wealth management market. - Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting into RIAs across the U.S
- Cold call, email, and leverage LinkedIn and other prospecting tools to initiate new relationships
- Research target firms and identify financial advisors, CIOs, investment teams, portfolio managers, and other key decision-makers
- Secure qualified introductory meetings and new opportunities for the RIA Business Development team
- Consistently build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective RIA relationships
- Execute persistent, thoughtful follow-up to move prospects from initial outreach into active conversations
