## About the role

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join our Manufacturing and Production Team. As the Production Support Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a hands-on production, manufacturing, or hardware development environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware issues on the fly in a high-tech manufacturing setting
- Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, CAD models, schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with technicians on the floor and communicate effectively with manufacturing and design engineers
