## About the role

As a Specialist, Payments Operations, you will help ensure money moves safely, accurately, and reliably across Justworks. You are responsible for executing critical payment workflows, but your role goes beyond following a process. You understand the work you are doing, recognize when something doesn’t look right, and use the information and tools available to investigate issues and make thoughtful decisions. When a problem comes up, you take ownership and help see it through to resolution.

## What they're looking for

- 3+ years of experience in payments operations, banking, fintech, payroll, financial operations, or another detail-oriented operational environment
- Familiarity with payment processing or money movement, experience with ACH, wires, RTP, or similar payment methods is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to investigate issues, work through exceptions, and make thoughtful decisions
- Comfortable working with data and learning new systems and technology, including automation and AI-enabled tools
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accuracy and controls when working with financial transactions
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time-sensitive work and collaborate effectively with others
