## About the role

Own and manage the monthly and quarterly close process, including the close calendar, journal entries, account reconciliations, and review process Directly manage members of the accounting team, including workload allocation, coaching, feedback, and development

## What they're looking for

- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful ownership of the general ledger and monthly or quarterly close
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
- Experience leading, mentoring, reviewing, or managing other accountants and a genuine desire to continue developing people
- The accounting judgment to review others' work, identify issues, and know when something requires escalation
- A track record of taking ownership of complex processes and driving them to completion
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple contributors on track against a close calendar
