## About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on Keeper's PAM Discovery team, you will be a primary developer for the backend discovery service that identifies privileged accounts, service accounts, keys and machines across Active Directory, cloud IAM, databases and endpoints so they can be brought under secure management and rotation.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems
- Strong Python experience with Python is the primary language of Keeper's Discovery engine
- Working proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend services, plus enough comfort in TypeScript/React to make changes in our administrative interface when needed
- Strong experience with distributed systems, APIs and data-processing pipelines, including systems that must run reliably in environments you don't control
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud IAM model, such as AWS IAM and Organizations, Microsoft Entra ID or GCP IAM
