## About the role

Klaviyo operates a real-time data analytics platform written primarily in Python that is built for massive scale and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Data Platform team builds tooling and establishes best practices and technology choices that help enable the Data Platform area to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data-driven insights. As an engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our mission critical data and analytics infrastructure.

## What they're looking for

- BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in a software engineering discipline
- Highly skilled in using at least one modern programming language
- Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or a similar infrastructure as code tool
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud computing environment
- Experience using Linux operating systems
