## About the role

LifeSci Capital is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking team. The Vice President will lead the execution of equity and M&A transactions for biotechnology and life sciences clients, ranging from private companies preparing to access the public markets through newly public and small- and mid-cap issuers.

## What they're looking for

- Five or more years of investment banking or closely related transaction experience, candidates with an advanced degree may be considered with fewer years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience executing equity and equity-linked transactions, with live deal experience in a healthcare or life sciences coverage or capital markets group strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage transactions across the full lifecycle, including pitching, marketing, diligence, valuation, execution, and closing
- Strong command of accounting, financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction structures
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex financial and scientific information into clear, actionable conclusions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior executives and boards
