## About the role

As a Technical Service Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone behind the quality and success of Lunar installations. You'll provide remote support to our channel partners and Field Service Engineers, serve as a subject-matter expert on Lunar products, and help monitor the fleet to proactively address site issues. This role is based primarily at our Mountain View HQ, with some local and national travel required.

## What they're looking for

- Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on technical field experience
- 5+ years designing and installing residential solar, battery, and/or EV charging systems
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check
- Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred, solid knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes
- Ability to read single-line drawings, permit packages, and technical specs for PV and ESS systems (EVSE a plus)
- Comfortable interpreting device telemetry and spotting anomalies in large data sets
