## About the role

We are looking for a detail-driven Legal Billing Specialist to join our growing Legal Operations Team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day of outside counsel and vendor billing across our matter management and eBilling platforms—reviewing invoices, enforcing our Outside Counsel Guidelines and negotiated fee arrangements, and keeping our legal spend accurate, compliant, and on time.

## What they're looking for

- A bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, coursework or a background in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus
- At least 2+ years of legal billing or eBilling experience in an in-house legal department, law firm, or both
- Hands-on experience with an eBilling / matter management platform—Onit, Legal Tracker, Brightflag —and familiarity with LEDES invoice formats
- Working knowledge of outside counsel billing guidelines, alternative fee arrangements, rate structures, and accruals
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with an eye for accuracy in high-volume, deadline-driven billing cycles
- Understanding of financial management principles and process-improvement experience
