## About the role

Elveo is developing cellular-based space payloads and seeks a Wireless Engineer to design and implement feeder link modems for Elveo's spacecraft and ground systems. This role involves developing, implementing, and testing DSP and satellite communication protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless communication, signal processing, and software engineering to drive innovation in next-generation satellite-based networks.

## What they're looking for

- A Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep understanding of communication theory and signal processing related algorithms design, such as filter design, clock recovery, signal detection, channel estimation and equalization, channel coding
- Strong knowledge of some communications and networking standards, such as DVB-S2/DVB-S2X, and protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, ZeroMQ, Ethernet, etc
- Experience with C/C++, Python, MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation
- Strong knowledge of software defined radios - SDRs and their implementation
- Proficiency in working with Linux based systems
