## About the role

The Sr Embedded Software Engineer will play a key role in developing advanced RF sensing capabilities for Mach’s autonomous defense platforms. Working on the DART team, you will focus directly on next-generation counter-UAV radar systems and RF seekers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, verifying the performance and optimizing radar software across the full development lifecycle; from board bring-up to writing the low-latency embedded software that powers Mach’s radar and RF sensing technologies.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience developing embedded software for radar, RF sensing, signal processing, wireless or aerospace products
- Proficiency in low level C/C++ for embedded systems with the ability to write clean, well-tested, and efficient code
- Proven experience with RTOS or bare-metal systems, in memory constrained environments
- Ability to read schematics and bring-up new boards and processors, including bring-up peripherals/drivers and embedded code from scratch
- Deep understanding of standard communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and Ethernet) used to control the system and interface with customer platforms
