## About the role

Matter is hiring an Electrical Architect to define and own the electrical architecture for advanced sensing payloads and supporting airborne and spaceborne systems. Reporting to Victor Moreno, this role will guide interfaces, power, signal integrity, design decisions, and technical reviews across the payload electronics stack. Define the end-to-end electrical architecture and maintain clear interfaces across payload subsystems.

## What they're looking for

- Experience architecting complex electrical systems that combine multiple boards, sensors, processors, power domains, and interfaces
- Strong fundamentals in electronics, power, high-speed or sensitive signal paths, grounding, and hardware integration
- Ability to lead technical reviews and communicate architectural tradeoffs across disciplines
- Hands-on judgment informed by hardware development, bring-up, test, and failure investigation
