## About the role

We're looking for a Director, People Business Partner to help build and scale the People function at Maven during a period of significant growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can move seamlessly between partnering with senior leaders on complex People challenges and rolling up their sleeves to build and execute the processes that make a growing company run.

## What they're looking for

- You have 8+ years of progressive HR, People Operations, People Business Partner, or related experience , ideally including meaningful experience within a venture-backed, high-growth technology company
- You've experienced meaningful organizational growth and change firsthand, ideally within a Series A, B, or C environment , and understand what it takes to build People practices while a company is scaling quickly
- You're a true HR/People generalist and builder , with hands-on experience across employee relations, performance management, terminations, promotions, onboarding/offboarding, HR policy, compliance, and People Operations
- You've personally built or significantly improved People programs, policies, processes, or infrastructure rather than solely operating within established systems
- You're a credible partner to senior leaders who can build trust quickly, offer a strong point of view, and respectfully challenge or push back when the business needs it
- You have strong judgment and can navigate sensitive, ambiguous People situations without needing a playbook for every scenario
