## About the role

As the Manager of Simulation Infrastructure, you will lead a team of full-stack and infrastructure engineers responsible for the deployment, scaling, and operational health of the web applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure supporting massive parallel batch simulation runs. You will drive the strategic roadmap, guide the architectural design of secure, high-throughput APIs, and oversee the frontend-to-backend systems that power scenario management, run orchestration, and results analytics.

## What they're looking for

- Proven track record in engineering management and building healthy, high-performing technical teams
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and architectural principles for cloud scalability, resilience, and operational health
- Strong technical foundation in relational database design (schema design, performance tuning) and scalable backend web services (e.g., Go, Python, Node.js)
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React), plus a strong grasp of CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and high-level product strategy
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
