## About the role

Mercury is the fintech startups use for banking* and all their financial workflows. This turns out to be a pretty wild endeavor, so we’re looking to bring someone smart onto our Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) team to help us out. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual with a background in either risk, banking, compliance, AML, fraud or regulatory to assist our ODD team.

## What they're looking for

- Conduct KYC Refresh and/or Enhanced Due Diligence Reviews as needed
- Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary volumes through trends and themes associated to reviews conducted
- Support our BPO partners with escalations tied to various review types tied to CIP, CDD & EDD
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and customers
- After account review, document rationale to maintain or exit decisions on customer accounts
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns to management
