## About the role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end design and development of complex electromechanical hardware and robotic systems. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will rapidly build, test, and iterate on prototypes using 3D printing, CNC machining, and hands-on fabrication. You’ll leverage your deep mechanical intuition to perform core structural, thermal, and tolerance analyses while ensuring designs scale seamlessly through rigorous DFM/DFA practices.

## What they're looking for

- Exceptional Mechanical Intuition. You understand how forces, materials, and mechanisms behave instinctively
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent "hard tech" projects) building complex electromechanical systems and sensors
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques such as 3D Printing, Machining, etc
- High proficiency in SolidWorks, Catia or similar tools
- Hands-on problem-solving approach with ability to iterate quickly
- Experience designing for volume processes (Injection molding, CNC, etc.) and working with contract manufacturers
