## About the role

Caribou is looking for a high-integrity, operational Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will serve as foundational anchor on the Accounting team, taking direct ownership of day-to-day GL activity, while helping us build scalable accounting systems & business processes to support Caribou’s next phase of growth while hyper focused on the precision of our accounting records. This role will:

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA strongly preferred
- 3-6 years experience in progressive accounting roles with a preference for public accounting and/or large corporate/fintech experience
- Experience with modern accounting software required, with a preference for experience with NetSuite
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with an understanding of US GAAP and ability to document accounting conclusions
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively present complex information to both finance and non-finance partners
