## About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer plays a critical role in the design and development of mechanical systems supporting mission-critical data center power distribution products, including low-voltage switchgear and switchboards. This role combines deep technical expertise with project leadership and mentorship to deliver high-performance, reliable, and manufacturable designs in a fast-paced, engineered-to-order environment.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design within engineered-to-order, electrical infrastructure, or industrial product environments
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on mechanical design experience for low-voltage switchgear or switchboards (1200A–6000A class preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal, machining, structural design, and tolerance control
- Experience releasing complete manufacturing packages (drawings, BOMs, ECOs, revision control)
