## About the role

MyOme is seeking an experienced and innovative bioinformatics scientist/biostatistician contractor to develop new diagnostic software. In this role, you will build on existing bioinformatics and statistical methods for identifying signals from limited material. This is a full-time contracting position for someone who seeks to combine their genomics knowledge with robust statistical techniques and implement their methods in streamlined bioinformatics workflows.

## What they're looking for

- Lead the development and implementation of statistical algorithms to garner genomic insights in novel diagnostic areas and implement them in production-ready pipelines
- Contribute to the build out of an analysis platform that incorporates quality control status, analysis, visualization and process dashboards for genomic data
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage, process, analyze and interpret genomic data
- Help design and conduct clinical validation study plans and reports
- Work with our Clinical Lab Director to make sure all algorithms comply with regulatory standards
- Work and communicate regularly with external partners or collaborators on shared projects
