## What they're looking for

- Experience designing mechanisms and mechanical assemblies, ideally in a regulated environment
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and application of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes relevant to mechanisms and assemblies (machining, 3D printing, injection molding, casting, extrusion) with a focus on design for manufacturability and affordability
- Experience executing ISO 13485 design controls, including design verification testing of module level designs
- Understanding of fluidic systems and the mechanical interactions between an instrument and a consumable cartridge is a plus
- Experience with human factors engineering or industrial design for healthcare settings is a plus
