## About the role

Netflix's US Indirect Tax ("ITX") team manages transaction taxes collected from customers and remitted to state and local governments — including sales, use, amusement, communication services, and admissions taxes — as well as property tax, business license tax, and certain gross receipts taxes.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, is required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in state and local/indirect tax, including sales/use tax audit and compliance work
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large transactional data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing audit and compliance deadlines and an array of competing priorities
- A track record of identifying and driving process improvement in indirect tax operations
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate and manage a variety of competing priorities
