## About the role

Nexthop Systems Inc. is seeking an electrical design validation engineer to validate next-generation high-capacity networking systems for emerging AI infrastructures. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with innovative problem-solving to plan & execute all the qualifications of cutting-edge system designs that meet the demands of advanced data centers and telecom environments.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-5 years of experience in Electrical design validation for telecom or data center product development
- Develop detailed test plans to characterize and validate systems, subassemblies or components as per industry or internal specifications by working closely with HW design (electrical, thermal, power, optics etc.)
- Support HW bring up, and contract manufacturing NPIE with any electrical qualifications, debugging and test script support
- Work closely with the cross-functional teams to co-ordinate test cost, schedule and address cross-functional dependencies e.g. HW allocation, SW readiness
- Procure test equipment and resources to complete scheduled tests in a timely manner
