## About the role

Our team is searching for a dynamic Field Solutions Engineer with a strong background in aircraft conceptual or preliminary design to join our Field Solutions Engineering team, with a dedicated focus on customer enablement and training. Our most active strategic customers today are in Aerospace & Defense, designing air vehicles, and we're looking for an engineer who has worked inside that world and wants to bring that expertise to a broader set of customers and design challenges.

## What they're looking for

- Current or recent experience in aircraft conceptual or preliminary design, or a closely related discipline (e.g., aerostructures, propulsion integration, vehicle-level sizing and tradeoff studies, MDO)
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline, plus 3+ years of industry experience (highly relevant doctoral degrees can be substituted for three years)
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technical software quickly, prior experience with nTop, parametric CAD, or computational design tools is valuable, but we will invest in ramping the right engineer on our platform
- Experience with scripting in Python, Excel/VBA
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable presenting in front of large audiences and senior stakeholders
