## About the role

As a Senior MPU & Embedded AI Field Application Engineer, covering the Eastern U.S., you’ll be one of the key contributor in the Customer Application Support team supporting designs in Healthcare and Industrial application spaces. You drive demand creation and design-in activity at customer sites in close cooperation with the NXP business lines; you provide technical skills & support to NXP’s sales staff by driving resolution of technical issues and identifying future roadmap needs of your customer(s).

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and minimum 6+ years development engineering or applications support of SoC based embedded systems
- Field Application Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of typical SoC hardware interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, UART, LPDDR4 or LPDDR5, PCIe ) and ARM Cortex A, Cortex M, heterogeneous architecture and register programming models
- Familiarity with Embedded Edge AI Model architecture, Workflow Tools and Model deployment is a plus
- Hands on experience in embedded Linux is essential: kernel and user-space and uboot environments
- Strong embedded software skillset for implementation of system processor solutions
