## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, or any occupation, job title, position designing, developing, and securing blockchain-based backend systems
- 3 years of professional experience developing backend systems utilizing backend programming languages (including Go or Rust)
- 3 years working on protocols that span from L1s to L2s, including when the system is trying to reduce dependence on L1 smart contracts
- 3 years of professional experience collaborating with research teams to conduct cutting-edge research in blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency platforms
- 3 years of professional experience building distributed systems, focusing on reliable broadcast protocols, distributed data structures, and high-performance database storage engines
