## About the role

As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Onehouse, you will operate as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor to our most strategic customers. You’ll go beyond implementation to drive architectural decisions, influence product strategy, and mentor both customers and internal teams. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of experience working directly with customers on technical engagements
- 8+ years of experience with major cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure
- 5+ years of deep experience with Apache Spark and knowledge on Spark’s runtime internals, query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting and debugging Spark solutions
- Extensive technical experience building, operating, and troubleshooting diverse data engineering pipelines with tools like Kafka, Flink, Presto/Trino, DBT, Airflow, Parquet
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills being able to synthesize technical topics for both executive and technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and leadership without authority
