## About the role

Onto Innovation is seeking a Compliance & Quality Engineer to support the design, certification, manufacturing, and quality management of advanced semiconductor equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring products comply with applicable safety, regulatory, EMC, and quality standards while maintaining all compliance documentation, certifications, inspections, and audit requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial equipment, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with SEMI S2, SEMI S8, SEMI F47, UL 61010, EN 60204-1, NFPA 79, CE, and EMC compliance
- Experience coordinating certification projects with TÜV Rheinland, UL, CSA, or similar agencies
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
- Experience with quality control, nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
