## About the role

OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller and other members of the Accounting team in all aspects of finance and accounting functions.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally a public accounting/private industry mix
- Direct hands-on experience in the application of ASC 606 (Revenue), ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), and ASC 805 (Business Combinations)
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP
- Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close schedules and complex account reconciliations independently
- Prior experience working on M&A accounting, business combinations, or technical accounting implementation projects (e.g. purchase price allocation, valuation)
