## About the role

The People team is small, high-leverage, and building the operating infrastructure that a company at our stage needs. This role is at the center of that. This is not a support role. You are the operational backbone of People at Overjet — the person who ensures payroll closes without error, new hires feel set up for success on Day 1, the San Mateo office feels alive, and every HR process runs like it was built by someone who is a systems thinker.

## What they're looking for

- Manage San Mateo office operations two days per week
- Own supply and snack ordering on a consistent cadence — office always stocked
- Coordinate team outings, in-office events, and culture moments
- Manage AV setup and troubleshoot meeting technology
- Maintain vendor relationships and building management coordination
- 4–5 years of People Operations or HR Generalist experience, with at least one stint at a startup or high-growth company
