## About the role

Overland AI is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Business Operations team. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities required to support the company’s manufacturing and operational requirements.

## What they're looking for

- Obtain and maintain supplier quotations, pricing information, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other purchasing information
- Support cost-reduction and sourcing initiatives by identifying opportunities for improved pricing, lead times, terms, quality, or supply continuity
- Coordinate with suppliers and Inventory Control to resolve receiving discrepancies, quantity issues, damaged materials, and documentation problems
- Maintain accurate purchasing data within the company’s ERP system
- Identify potential material shortages and escalate risks that could affect production schedules
- Contribute to supplier evaluations, vendor records, and supplier scorecards
