## About the role

As a Hardware Configuration & Change Management Specialist, you will be the backbone of engineering integrity across our fusion demonstration system. Thousands of custom mechanical and electrical assemblies, subject to constant design iteration, must remain traceable, releasable, and buildable at all times. You will own the processes and tools — centered on Windchill — that keep our hardware baseline accurate as the design evolves at startup speed. ## What they're looking for

- 4+ years of experience in hardware configuration management, engineering change management in a hardware-intensive environment
- Hands-on, working knowledge of PTC Windchill (workflows, BOM management, change objects, and lifecycle states) is required
- Solid understanding of engineering change processes (ECR/ECO/ECN) and configuration management principles for complex, multi-revision hardware
- Comfort reading mechanical and electrical drawings and BOMs well enough to assess the impact of a proposed change
- Proactive, "DOer," and self-starter capable of navigating the ambiguity of a first-of-a-kind research project
- A positive attitude and the ability to influence cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians
